As founder of the Espians, a metanational
collective of cultural
creatives, Tav -- a serial entrepreneur from London -- has spent
most
of his life in that curious intersection between culture, technology
and economics. In 1999, he set up his first company at the age
of 17.
In 2001, he prototyped a tool to enable gift and reputation-based
economic model for artists. In 2004, he organised a series of
Europe-wide open-space conferences. In 2006, in partnership with
the
likes of the United Nations and Greenpeace, he created green.tv
-- the
world's first broadband tv channel dedicated to the environment.
He
hopes it will stimulate positive change as it heads forward under
the
banner of "watch, engage, act".
He is currently working on a parallel public infrastructure
(a
socio-economic-technological platform) which he hopes will enable
cultural creatives to truly flourish.
