Ann JULIENNE entered the television industry in 1985 when she joined French indie producer/distributor Télé Images. At Télé Images, in addition to programme acquisitions, she developed a number of international co-productions.

In 1994, Ann was recruited as a member of the start up team at La Cinquième, France's first public educational and knowledge channel.

Now known as France 5, it is one of the Groupe France Télévisions channels which comprises also France 2 and France 3. At France 5 (which is the major broadcaster of documentaries in the public television arena in France), Ann is Head of Acquisitions and also Head of International co-productions. In this role, in addition to commissioning numerous co-productions, Ann has initiated a number of co-production development agreements with major broadcasters around the world.

Widely travelled since the age of five, she has lived in six different countries and is a dual national of France and the US.
